Slimi Studio Makes A First Global Statement with The Premiere of The Liberty Collection FW24 In New York

New York City, February 10, 2024 – Slimi Studio designed by Urivaldo Lopes proudly debuted its highly anticipated "Liberty Collection" during New York Fashion Week at the Prince George’s Gallery in Manhattan. The show marked the studio’s inaugural international fashion show, showcasing the Fall Winter 2024 collection to a captivated audience of fashion aficionados, style insiders, and the press.

The Liberty collection draws inspiration from the iconic Statue of Liberty and the cultural dynamic and freestyle streetwear of New York City. It serves as an ode to empowerment throughout our day, from streetwear, eveningwear, or cocktail attire worn at any time of the day. With its strong emphasis on freedom of expression and individuality, the collection promises to inspire a new season of style.

The pulse of the city is a staccato for freedom, and the textures and sequins are a vibrant narrative of every untold story. Passion, uninhibited
weaves its way into every stitch, a celebration of the untamed in the city. From dawn to dusk, the pieces seem to sway, dancing freely in their unique
rhythm.

Sensual allure meets festive symphony in the colors and textures of glittering Brazilian Carnival bras, a bold statement of the collection. Meanwhile,
streetwear takes on the timeless elegance of fur, leather, and the ever-classic versatility of denim, rugged yet bold in a nonchalant manner.

The silhouettes of the models emerge, featuring daring shoulders, towering hats, and cascading crystals, beckoning everyone to dance freely to the rhythm of their individuality.

The charm of “bling” in the statement pieces left a lasting impression of modernity with a futuristic flair, and the metallic sheen of the
matching glittering tasseled top and mini skirt constructed of sequins was a runway star.

One piece stood out above all; a long body-hugging elegant black dress adorned with a rhinestone-studded bra featuring a daring cut from waist
to hip. With an unapologetically bold style, the ensemble exuded magnetic allure and sensuality, further heightened by one long black glove reaching toward the shoulder, adding an air of mystery and sophistication.

Visionary founder Sleiman Dayaa shared some words on the collection: “Being free is being you! Freestyle! Passion is both armor and

Shortly after Slimi Studio’s first show featuring the SS24 collection, he took part in the grand opening of Atlantis The Royal Resort with global icon Beyoncé. Lebanon's award-winning Mayyas dance troupe winners of America's Got Talent season 17, dazzled on stage as they performed around Beyoncé in a captivating choreography dressed by Slimi Studio designs.
