Italian artist Pietro Ruffo’s illustrations are evident in the outcome: a stunning weave of embellishments on gowns and bodices, with hints of Dior gray in tweed, cashmere, and organza. The classic Bar jacket makes a return with a punch and a new attitude in Matteo Garrone’s tale. Inspired by the oldest tarot deck, the Visconti Sforza, Matteo invites us to access this world and seeks answers from within through major arcana characters.
