I am a graphic designer and illustrator based in San Diego, CA. I was born in Salinas, CA and I was raised in Tijuana, Mexico. I was lucky to have very supportive parents that encouraged me to make art since I was very young. I studied graphic design in San Diego and I struggled a lot to find a full-time job after graduating from college. I almost changed careers and gave up on art. I remember I created my Instagram account in 2010, just for fun. That's when I came out with my brand name Scream Colour. I started playing with words, it was Summertime and I thought of the saying "I Scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream."

Since I love bright colors, I decided to go with "I Scream Colour." Since 2010, I've been posting my drawings on Instagram daily and noticed how my art style has changed all these years. I've been inspired by pop culture since I was a teenager in the 90s and early 2000s and I'm still inspired by this nostalgia that I can't let go of. Always looking at the past! I enjoy drawing on my iPad and drawing on paper with markers, acrylic paint, and spray paint. There are no limits, I like to experiment and don’t worry about making mistakes anymore when drawing. I just want to feel free and enjoy drawing for myself and I like sharing it on Instagram.
