Saint laurent winter 21 - ANTHONY VACCARELLO

We welcome nature in all of its harsh beauty through the eyes of Anthony Vaccarello’s Winter woman. She is wild, she cannot be tamed, and she is free, walking confidently on the hostile grounds of nature between winds, ice and sharp cliffs. It’s a mesh of bodies and bold colors with black backdrops, and just when you think the clothes simply cannot, they do, and they clash, beautifully. The 60’s tweed suit is revived with metal bodies and Vaccarello has taken inspiration from the nineties cult-musician Peaches who blurred lines between cheesy and luxurious. He speaks of taking things less seriously while staying on the edge after finding a balance, and who better to portray these words through imagination come alive other than Zoë Kravitz, Hailey Bieber, Abbey Lee, Anja Rubik, and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
