Saint Laurent Summer 2027: The Gold Rush

Sahariennes, trenches, wrap skirts and razor-sharp suits return in lamé, brocade, metallic cotton and gold-leaf latex. The shapes are familiar; the effect is anything but. Strong shoulders cut through the shine. Fur edges short, precise tailoring. Sheer layers catch the light and let it pass through.

There’s a risk in making an entire collection about one colour. Vaccarello pushes straight into it, moving from pale, almost liquid gold to heavy, burnished metal. Each look changes the temperature of the next. By the time the jewellery arrives, gold has stopped feeling decorative. It feels like armour.

Saint Laurent has always known how to make glamour look dangerous. For Summer 2027, Vaccarello makes it impossible to look away.
